Today was one of those days that reminded me exactly why Mountain Minis is so incredibly special. ❤️

We celebrated our Summer Bash and Preschool Graduation, and my heart is just so full.

Watching our preschoolers graduate, seeing our kiddos running around laughing and playing, and having so many of our families together in one place was such a beautiful reminder that Mountain Minis is so much more than a childcare center.

Over the years, we've watched babies take their first steps here. We've celebrated birthdays, potty-training victories, first friendships, first words, and so many little milestones that turn into really big ones. And then somehow, before we're ready, we're watching those same little ones put on graduation caps and get ready for their next adventure. 🥹🎓

But one of my favorite things we've built isn't something you can see inside a classroom.

It's our community.

It's the relationships between our teachers and our children. It's parents becoming friends. It's siblings growing up here together. It's families trusting us with the people they love most. It's walking into an event like today and seeing everyone laughing, talking, celebrating and simply enjoying being together.

Owning Mountain Minis has given me some of the most rewarding moments of my life, and days like today remind me just how lucky I am to be part of this little community we've created together.

To our graduating preschoolers: we are SO proud of you. Watching you grow has been such a privilege, and we cannot wait to see all the amazing things you do next. 🎓❤️

And to every family who has chosen Mountain Minis, whether you've been with us for years or you're just beginning your journey with us, thank you for being part of our Mountain Minis family.

Today was a really, really good day. ❤️

🌱 Look what our little gardeners have grown! 🍓🥕🌻

Our Mountain Minis kiddos have been busy planting, watering, caring for, and watching their garden grow all summer long! 💛

They’re growing strawberries, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, mini watermelons 🍉 and lots of beautiful flowers. From tiny seeds to fruits, veggies and blooms, there’s been so much hands-on learning happening right in our own backyard.

We love giving our kiddos opportunities to get their hands dirty, explore nature, and experience the excitement of growing something themselves. 🌱

Choosing care for your baby is a big decision and feeling connected throughout the day matters.

At Mountain Minis Early Learning Academy, we send real-time updates and photos through Brightwheel, so you always know how your little one is doing 💛

We also keep our infant classroom consistent, with the same familiar caregivers each day, creating a close-knit, family-style environment where babies feel safe and truly cared for.

Our Mountain Minis family needs your help! 💚

Running a childcare center in a rural mountain community like Bailey is such a blessing, but it also comes with unique challenges. Unlike centers in town, we don’t have a large pool of substitute teachers to call when someone is sick, has an emergency, or needs time off.

Right now we are urgently looking for qualified substitute teachers who meet Lead Teacher qualifications to help support our classrooms when needed.

Substitutes make a huge difference in keeping our classrooms open and allowing families in our community to continue working without unexpected closures.

If you or someone you know is Lead Teacher qualified and interested in occasional substitute work, we would be incredibly grateful to connect with you.

💰 $20–$24 per hour
