"Brown bear, brown bear what do you see?"

Through this beloved story, children practiced color recognition, animal identification, vocabulary, listening skills, and sequencing while building early literacy skills.

A fall scavenger hunt is a wonderful way for early childhood learners (ages 2–6) to explore nature, practice observation skills, build vocabulary, and get moving! 🍂 Keep it playful, hands-on, and focused on exploring rather than finding every item.

A beautful fall weekend is among us so lets get outside!

Our Roseau and Warroad Early Head Start friends had such a wonderful evening at Big Truck Night in Roseau on September 29th!
Our little explorers had the chance to get up close with all kinds of amazing vehicles—from Polaris side-by-sides and tractors to buses and ambulances. And, of course, getting to climb inside made it even more exciting!

The children also enjoyed meeting some of our incredible community helpers, including a Border Patrol agent, a city police officer, and local EMTs. They had the opportunity to ask questions, explore, and learn about the important work these community members do every day. ❤️

We are so thankful for the wonderful people in our community who took the time to share their vehicles, their knowledge, and their time with our children. Experiences like this create special memories and help our little ones learn about the world around them in such a fun and meaningful way! 🌟

Thank you for making Big Truck Night such a BIG success! 🚌🚜🚑
