✨ Our First Garden Club Meeting of the School Year! 🌱

THANK YOU to our friends at APU Community Garden for hosting this opportunity for our Pumas! 💙

Our students beat the heat by listening in on an engaging read-along, then discussing and creating what they would include in their unique gardens. We are looking forward to getting hands-on in the upcoming weeks! 🌻

📢 Calling all Pumas! 🎃🐾

Donate candy for our upcoming Trunk or Treat event during our Candy Donation Challenge! 🍬🍭🍫

Each student will receive 10 Puma Tickets for a donation. The class with the most donations will win an ice cream party! 🍦

Stop by our main office to feed our very hungry Candy Monster! Please include your student's name and room number with your donation. 👻😋

Donations will close Thursday, October 22nd! Thank you for your continued support, families 💙

Stay Healthy This Flu Season Pumas! 🐾🏥

Please save the date! We are pleased to announce that AUSD is partnering with Kaiser to host a free flu vaccine clinic for Paramount students, families, and staff. This clinic is a convenient way to help protect your family during the upcoming flu season. 😷

✅ The vaccine is free, no insurance needed and no personal information will be shared.

Date of Clinic: Morning of Monday, October 19
Location: Parent Center - Room 3

Consent forms will be sent home soon. Please note: Students must have a signed consent form in order to receive the vaccine. Students without a signed consent form will not be vaccinated. 👩‍⚕️

✨ Our first Puma Student Store of the school year was a success! 🍎

Our students who have shown TERRIFIC behavior earned Puma Tickets to purchase fun toys, trinkets, school supplies, and more from our student store. We are so proud of our Pumas! 🐾

A big THANK YOU to our Title I Liaison, Lety Rosas, and our Puma Parent Volunteers for helping set up and facilitate our student store. At the end of our store, Ms. Rosas led a community circle activity with our parents, demonstrating the beauty of connection with our fellow parents! We couldn't have done it without YOU🧶🫂

Get ready to R.O.A.R. (Rec Out with Azusa Resources)! 🎉 Join us for a special Meet & Greet on Tuesday, September 29, from 2:30–3:30 PM at Paramount Elementary! 🏫

R.O.A.R. is a FREE after-school program offered by the City of Azusa Community Resources Department in partnership with Azusa Community Schools. Students will have opportunities to participate in physical activities, wellness programs, creative enrichment, and fun activities that encourage positive social connections! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome back Paramount’s Gardening Club this fall! 🌿 Students will have the opportunity to get hands-on while learning about plants, nature, teamwork, and the joy of gardening. 🐝🌱

A special THANK YOU to our wonderful partners at APU Community Garden for bringing this engaging opportunity to our Pumas! We appreciate your partnership and dedication to enriching our students’ learning experiences. 💚

📣 Puma Families! Spots are limited to 20 students per session and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis! 🧡🪅Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Paramount Elementary! 🧡🪅

Our Pumas enjoyed a fun-filled Hispanic Heritage Month Lunchtime Celebration filled with learning, culture, and community! 🎉 Students had the opportunity to:

🏵️ Learn about famous Hispanic leaders and their contributions
🎴 Play the traditional Lotería card game
💪 Identify and color their culture’s national flags
🎶 Listen and dance along to fun cultural music from talented artists like Shakira, Selena, and many more!

We loved seeing our students celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, music, and contributions that make our community so special! 🤝❤️
