This is a six piece jazz fusion band including APU faculty Mark Gasbarro, representing the most in demand musicians in Los Angeles. Kemma Filby (‘17) has recently been listed as one of the best screenwriters of 2023 on The Tracking Board! She is an actress, writer, and producer, as well as an adjunct professor for Screenwriting at APU. Filby graduated from APU as an Acting major with a minor in Screenwriting. We are so proud of her hard work!

João Castello is a freshman Cinematic Arts Production major with quite an impressive story! He has earned numerous awards globally for different films he has made, including but not limited to: Cannes World Film Festival (Best Young Filmmaker 2022), Toronto Independent Film Festival (Best International Feature Film 2022), Lift-Off Global Network (Best Picture 2024), Black Cat Award (Best Soundtrack 2022).
We are so proud of João and the Christian perspective he brings to his workplace as well as APU!
