🐾 Our 1st–5th grade Cougars were on the move for our Paws-itive PBIS Rotations! Students rotated through different locations—including the playground, library, restrooms, cafeteria, and more—to learn and practice our schoolwide expectations: Practice Kindness, Act Responsibly, Work and Play Safely, and Show Respect.
We’re building a shared understanding of how we can make Hodge a safe, welcoming, and respectful place for everyone. 💙 Families, you can help by talking with your Cougar about these expectations and encouraging them to practice them at home and at school!
Together, we’re making Hodge a Paws-itive place to belong! 🐾

🐾💙 Hodge Campus Buddies are ready for the first day of school! These student leaders came to campus today to prepare for an exciting first day and are ready to welcome both our new and returning students and families tomorrow morning!
New Hodge students & families - look for our Welcome Table at the front gate tomorrow morning. Campus Buddies will be there and ready to show you around campus and help you find your classroom.
We can’t wait to see all of our Cougars! 🐾💙

The school gate will be opened at 8:00am on the first day. Parents are welcome to walk their child to class Thursday and Friday. Don't forget, the first two days of school are minimum days - dismissal is at 1:15pm for all TK-5th grade students.

Hodge Cougars, our first day of school is Thursday, August 13! 💙 💛
TK and Kinder Orientations will be August 13 from 8:30-9:30am in the classrooms.
Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14 are minimum days - all students are dismissed at 1:15pm. Families are welcome to walk students to their classrooms between 8:00-8:15am these days.
Classroom Teacher Assignments are available through the Aeries Portal on Wednesday, August 12. Rosters will also be posted on the school gate after 4:30pm on August 12.

Mrs. Schaner, our Resource Teacher, is retiring. She is truly going to be missed after dedicating 30+ years to Hodge. Thank you to the students who came by and dedicated a song to her. We wish you the best on your retirement! 💕 📚 📖 🖊️

A very special farewell to Ms. Ana as she retires from Hodge. She thanks ALL the Staff for such a wonderful celebration. She also thanks all the parents and students for all the well wishes. 💕

The parents, students and staff enjoyed performances from the AUSD Mariachi group, the GMS Folklórico Dance Group and the different classes from Hodge & Valleydale. We are also very proud of the Hodge Alumni who attend GMS and are promoting to High School. So proud of everyone!
