Creative Critters Pre-school Prep Creative Critters offers many unique experiences to young learners such as "cooking" and enjoying open space with small farm animals

Philosophy
The belief at Creative Critters is that children should be gently guided by conscientious adults modeling intentional behavior. The best kind of environment that supports learning is one that is relaxed and exerts minimal pressure on our young children. We aim to provide lots of room to explore, ask questions and to naturally make mistakes. Children succeed when they are able to learn f

rom those mistakes without fear of failure or harsh reprimand. The focus at Creative Critters is:
• Purposeful modeling of language speech components and appropriate behavior regarding kindness, patience, and food.
• Never underestimating what our children can do. The main goals of Creative Critters are to:
• Make information as meaningful as possible
• Helping children to use tools and devise strategies to problem solve and work through frustrations.
• Learn that mistakes are simply a part of life, finding out ways we can try to fix them and identifying the lesson we can learn from them.
• Recognize the value of natural consequences. The three fundamental principles of Creative Critters are:
• Love and respect all life.
• Engage with nature as often possible.
• Eat the rainbow! Children learn best when learning is intrinsically motivated and when they are able to have meaningful experiences that support investigation of their interests and environment! Creative critters will strive, to the furthest extent possible, to serve food that is recognizable, whole, and nutritionally dense. As often as possible, organic and eco-friendly food will be prioritized. In warm seasons, the children will collect organic food they have grown themselves from our gardens.
