Sometimes I think God gives us animals like Rowdy to remind us to slow down, smile a little more, and find joy in the simple moments.

Life can get busy, heavy, and overwhelming.

🤍 From My Heart

There was a time when I believed my story was too broken for God to use.

My husband was battling addiction.

My marriage was hanging by a thread.

I felt lonely, exhausted, and overwhelmed.

I spent many mornings crying in my prayer closet, asking God questions I didn't have answers to.

"Lord... what are You doing?"

"Will things ever get better?"

"Can You really bring something good from all of this?"

Looking back now, I can honestly say...

He did.

God didn't waste one tear.

He didn't waste one prayer.

He didn't waste one painful season.

Instead, He used those moments to deepen my faith, strengthen my dependence on Him, and prepare me for a calling I never saw coming.

Today, I have the privilege of walking alongside people who are carrying heavy burdens—not because I've lived the exact same story, but because I know what it feels like to desperately need hope.

If you're in a season where you can't yet see what God is doing...

Don't lose heart.

Sometimes He's doing His greatest work in the places we least expect.

Strong marriages aren't built because two perfect people found each other.

They're built because two imperfect people choose—day after day—to extend grace, communicate honestly, forgive freely, and keep showing up.

Every marriage will experience difficult seasons.

Misunderstandings.

Disappointment.

Stress.

Moments when you wonder if things can ever feel close again.

But difficult seasons don't have to define your relationship.

With intentional effort, honest conversations, and a foundation rooted in God's truth, healing and restoration are possible.

🤍 Meet the Heart Behind McClure's Counseling & Wellness

Hi, I'm Paige McClure.

If you've been following my page for a while, thank you for being here. If you're new, I'd love to introduce myself.

Before I was ever a counselor...

I was simply a woman who was hurting.

There was a season when my husband was battling addiction, our marriage felt like it was falling apart, and I found myself overwhelmed, lonely, and wondering if life would ever feel whole again.

I knew I couldn't carry it by myself.

So I sought counseling.

But more than anything, I sought God.

Many mornings and late nights were spent in my prayer closet, crying out to Him, asking Him to heal what felt impossible to fix.

That little closet became the place where God met me.

He didn't just begin restoring my circumstances...

He began restoring me.

As He healed my heart, He planted a calling I never expected.

Looking back now, I can clearly see that God never wasted my pain.

He was preparing me to walk alongside others who feel broken, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the future.

Today, it is my privilege to serve individuals and couples by offering biblical counseling, faith-based guidance, trauma support, marriage support, and addiction recovery support rooted in God's Word.

But the credential that matters most to me isn't listed after my name.

Some weeks begin with excitement.

Some begin with uncertainty.

And some begin with simply trying to find the strength to take the next step.

If that's where you are today, I want to encourage you with this reminder:

God has already gone before you.

He already knows the conversations you'll have, the challenges you'll face, and the prayers you're still waiting to see answered.

You don't have to carry the weight of the entire week today.

Just trust Him with today.

Take the next step.

Offer the next prayer.

Choose faith over fear.

One day at a time.

🌻 MONDAY HOPE 🌻

Sunflowers have always reminded me of an important truth...

No matter how dark the storm has been, they continue to turn toward the light.

Life isn't always easy.

There are seasons of disappointment, grief, anxiety, uncertainty, and waiting. Sometimes the weight of those seasons can feel overwhelming.

But even then, we have a choice.

We can continue turning our hearts toward the One who is our true source of hope.

God doesn't promise a life free from hardship, but He does promise His presence through every season.

So if this Monday feels heavy, let this be your reminder...

🌻 Stand tall.
🌻 Keep growing.
🌻 Keep looking toward the Light.

Hi, I'm Paige McClure, and before I was ever a counselor...

I was someone who desperately needed hope.

There was a season in my life when my husband was battling addiction, my marriage felt like it was falling apart, and I found myself overwhelmed, broken, and searching for answers.

During that time, I sought counseling for my own healing.

But I also found myself spending countless hours in my prayer closet, crying out to God.

That became the place where He met me.

He didn't simply change my circumstances...

He began changing my heart.

Looking back, I can now see that God wasn't wasting my pain.

He was preparing me for my purpose.

Today, it is my privilege to walk alongside individuals and couples who are facing difficult seasons by offering biblical counseling, faith-based guidance, trauma-focused support, marriage support, and addiction recovery support rooted in God's Word.

Hello, August.

A new month doesn't require a perfect plan.

It simply offers a fresh opportunity to trust God one day at a time.

Maybe July brought unexpected challenges.

Maybe it brought answered prayers.

Maybe you're stepping into August carrying questions only God knows the answers to.

Wherever you find yourself today...

Remember this:

God's faithfulness didn't end yesterday.

His mercy is still new this morning.

His grace is still sufficient.

His presence still goes before you.

So instead of worrying about the entire month...

Just take the next faithful step.

One prayer.

One decision.

One day at a time.

The people who often say,
"I'm fine,"
are sometimes the ones carrying the most.

They show up for work.
They care for their family.
They serve at church.
They keep smiling.

But inside, they're exhausted.
