Amazing things are happening in Ms. Harper’s Pre-K classroom! Our littlest Hornets are using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices during circle time to participate, interact with their friends, and share their thoughts! 💬📚

We love seeing our youngest learners develop communication skills, build confidence, and actively engage in classroom activities!

Every child has something to say, and every voice deserves to be heard! 💚💛

Great things happening!!!!

📢 Communication in Action! 💬

✨Our October focus for our Portrait of a Hornet traits is Communication—and two of our amazing students showed us exactly what that looks like in action!

🐝💚Using their AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices, Benji and James, along with their teachers Mrs. Downes and Mr. Schmitt, stepped up to lead our morning announcements today! 🎙️📲

In Azle ISD, our Portrait of a Hornet reminds us that communication means using oral, written, digital, and non-verbal skills to connect with others. We are so proud of these Hornets for sharing their voices and leading our school community with confidence! 🌟

October is AAC awareness month. During October, we will be sharing some great things happening across the district!
