🌟 September Character Trait Winners – Respect 🌟

In September, our students focused on the character trait of respect—treating others with kindness, using good manners, listening to others, and showing appreciation for themselves, their peers, and their teachers. 💙

These students were teacher-nominated for consistently demonstrating respect throughout their school day and being positive examples for those around them.

We are so proud of the way they help create a welcoming, kind, and respectful school community!

Our school/classroom went RED today for Dyslexia Awareness! 🎒🔴

1 in 5 students has dyslexia or a language-based learning difference. Today, our staff and students wore red to reclaim the color once used to mark errors and turn it into a symbol of pride, strength, and community support.

We are committed to fostering inclusive, supportive classrooms where every reader and learner thrives.

🎲 Future Game Designers! Our mathematicians leveled up by creating their own custom math games!
🔦 Phonics Detectives! We grabbed flashlights and went on a dark, thrilling search to hunt down the /th/ sound!
🏈📣 Friday Night Lights Crew! A HUGE thank you to our high school football players and cheerleaders for dropping by to inspire us and bring the school spirit!
🏎️ Master Engineers! We put our critical thinking to the test designing and building epic marble tracks!

Today we celebrate these hardworking, amazing humans who do so much behind the scenes to keep Silver Creek Elementary clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our students and staff each day! 💚

Our campus truly wouldn’t be the same without you! Thank you for all the early mornings, late afternoons, countless clean-ups, and all the little things you do that make such a BIG difference.

A massive THANK YOU to all of our amazing students and families who came out and lit up the night at our Glow Party! Seeing everyone dance, shine, and make memories together made it an unforgettable evening.
