Sarah Scott has qualified for state in the 800 meters. Great job Sarah! This is Sarah’s third sport to qualify for at the state level. ( Cross Country, Track, and Soccer).

Congratulations to Raider Ashton Rel for signing a letter of intent to run track for Dallas Baptist University.

Wylie East Region II summary:

Grant Buley placed 3rd in the 3200m, and 8th in the 1600m run
Jordan Wyatt finished 7th in the 200m dash with a time of 21.84
Boys 4x100 finished 6th Eric Lopez, Jordan Wyatt, Will Feagins, Jared Wyatt. and the 4x200 finished 8th Jordan Wyatt, Jared Wyatt, Jason Rone, Will Feagins.

Girls:
Sarah Scott was the Regional Champion in the 800m run with a time of 2:15.05 earning her a trip to the State Meet on May 9th. She placed 3rd in the 1600m run.

Congratulations to all of the Wylie East Track & Field Regional Qualifiers that competed in Arlington this weekend! Many PR's and much to be proud of. A big congratulations to Sarah Scott for being the Regional Champion in the 800m run! Good luck Sarah at the UIL 4A State Championship on Friday, May 9th in Austin!
