October is Dyslexia Awareness Month, and we’re getting ready to paint our school/community RED!

Did you know red was historically the color used to mark up mistakes on papers? We’re reclaiming the color red to empower our amazing dyslexic thinkers, highlight their creative strengths, and promote understanding & inclusion! 💡🧠✨

Grab your favorite red shirt, hoodie, or crazy red socks on Tuesday, October 6th! Take a photo, tag us, and drop your best red emoji in the comments below! 👇🔴🔻🍎

🚨AE Friday Photo Frenzy🚨

We had so many amazing things going on today at AE. The PE classes worked on their hula hoop and basketball skills, the playground was buzzin’ with fun, students showed off their awesome behaviors in the hallways, students were engaged in amazing lessons in their classrooms, and our 1st graders had a lesson where they cooked some cinnamon apples and then used their senses to write about the taste, smell and texture of the apples! Did we mention that Mr. Casey was lassoed by a hula hoop?
