Varsity had their first home matches this year and came with 2 wins! Starting the morning with a 17-2 WIN over a scrappy Alvarado team, and ending the afternoon with a 15-4 WIN over a good Peaster team! Varsity now moves to 4-1 on the season, and are only going to continue to get better! GO HORNETS!

This past weekend varsity opened their season by traveling to San Antonio and competing with some teams down south! We came away 2–1 on the weekend, defeating Marshall and Veterans Memorial, and dropping a tough match to Brennan. We also had 9 players record their first ever Varsity win! This is only the beginning!

JV’s season came to end today at the district tournament! We are so proud of how much these athletes have grown over the course of this year! Super proud to bring home 3rd place for both the boys and girls! Huge congratulations to our individual medal winners. Time for some much deserved rest, and then get to work for next year! GO HORNETS!

Christian Tomlinson and Story Hilliard placed second at the district tournament today! This qualifies them for a spot at the Regional Tournament in Lubbock! WE ARE SO PROUD! Go Hornets!

DISTRICT CHAMPS! And they are only in 7th grade! So proud and excited for our future Hornet Tennis players!

Tennis competed at the district tournament this weekend, and every athlete gave it their all, playing with heart, grit, and determination every step of the way.

We’re proud to celebrate an incredible finish as District Champs, our very own Kristen Rushing and her partner Kelton Buchanan.
