Barry Women Lawyers Association (WLA) Barry Law | Women Lawyers Association (WLA) It was established in 2005 and was recognized by FAWL for "Outstanding Programming" in 2007.

The Barry School of Law Women Lawyer's Association (WLA) is the Barry University School of law chapter of FAWL (Florida Association of Women Lawyers). WLA promotes the advancement of women in the legal profession. This organization provides networking opportinuties, pro bono events, a forum for exchanging ideas, and preparation for transition into the professional world.

WLA is thrilled to kick off Women’s History Month! This March, we are dedicating WHM to all of the trailblazing women who came before us. Our focus this year is to highlight and celebrate women who pulled up a chair to tables they weren’t invited to, and paved the way for women and civil rights today. This month is more than just a celebration, it honors past and present women who challenged injustice and calls attention to the ongoing fight for gender equality.

We have many events planned for this month to highlight these amazing women throughout history as well as our members and the powerful women of today! We can’t wait for another exciting WHM with you all 💗
