As part of our initiative, our school library is excited to offer a Parent Resource Center featuring decodable books that families can check out and read at home. These books align with classroom literacy instruction and provide children with extra practice applying their reading skills. We encourage families to take advantage of this resource to build confidence, strengthen reading skills, and make reading together a part of their daily routine!

Books can be checked out by parents by visiting the AES library. Contact Mrs. Crute at [email protected] for more information.

🔷✏️ Shape People, Big Stories! 📚🎨
Our Child Development students were creative during our writing unit by telling stories through illustrations! Students built their very own shape people, using shape blocks to bring their ideas and characters to life.

Through hands-on learning, our young authors explored how illustrations can help tell a story, share ideas, and bring their imaginations to life. We love seeing our Blue Jackets learning, creating, and growing as storytellers! 💙💛
