Meet Cody our checkout computer who only speaks barcodes. Students say “Hey, it’s me!” and scan their library card barcode . Then “This is my book!” and scan their book checkout barcode. Then “Bye Blue Jacket” and scan the Blue Jacket barcode card to reset the computer to a sample account.

Research notebooks went home with 1st and 2nd graders this week. Students learned research skills all year long including note taking and citing sources. celebratereading
