At Wednesday’s “last theater meeting,” we said a heartfelt goodbye to our five incredible seniors: Izzy, Vanessa, Finn, April, and Sophia. They have all created some amazing memories over the last four years in Drama Club, as you can see in their collages. Last night, students from the ASRHS Drama Club attended the TAMY Awards Gala, sponsored by Theatre at the Mount. We were nominated along with twenty other schools for a wonderful year of musical theatre. We are thrilled to have won the following awards for our production of “Alice By Heart:”

🏆 Best Performance in a Featured Role (Bronze) - Kiana Starr (Queen of Hearts)
🏅 Not-Your-Average Chorus Member - Ruth Davis

We would also like to shout out Sophia Angers and April Rust for their spectacular performance in the opening number! Thank you to everyone who made this night so special and congratulations to all of the schools involved 🎭

We have officially closed the book on this year’s Spring musical, “Alice By Heart!” While we need some time to process our emotions and form the right words to fully capture how we feel about this show, we would like to thank the over 400 audience members that came to support us this weekend!! Your support means everything to our program and we can’t wait to put on more performances next year. Congratulations to our entire team of students and directors- WE DID IT!! 🩵🐇
