We are introducing a new class this fall! “Little Builders” will be held on select Saturdays in the workshop. Our younger campers (6-8yrs) will learn the ins and outs of the shop, and take home not just a project, but skills for life. More details to come, we will announce dates soon! I started Huck Finn School almost 20 years ago, in part for days like today. A lightening strike took out our well pump, but instead of a $3000 fix and a four day wait to have water, my son and I fixed it for $500 in two hours.
I know first-hand the importance of learning skills at a young age and developing a healthy attitude about work.
Looking forward to passing on lessons this fall!

Spots are selling fast! Zombie camps and WWII camp have just a handful of spots left, and all other themes are going quickly! This is our only pre-sale for the summer 27’ season. You can secure your spot now, and have the option to change weeks until January 20th if needed. We will still have regular registration on January 24th. Our summer camp 2027 PRE-SALE is now available! Regular registration will open on January 24th. If you do register for camp during our pre-sale, please know that if you need to change to a different week, you have until January 20th to request a camp switch.

And just like that, the field where hundreds of kids have learned and played all summer is now quiet. But not for long! We have fun things in store for this coming fall and holiday season. We will announce classes, camps, and events very soon! Kids, enjoy the last bit of the summer, and good luck in school!☀️

Our final summer camp game at “Zombie survival camp.” It came down to two, Danny and “T”, both returning campers who have had a few years of practice at Huck Finn camp! After a long morning of counselors and kids turning into zombies, “T” was the last survivor of the day! What a way to end the summer here.
