Class is in session! Our first homeschool class of the fall semester was great. Today the kids built their own toolboxes, completely from scratch. Measuring, cutting, assembling, and safety, all in one day. We can’t wait to see what else these kids build this month!

A very happy birthday to our camper Jack!! Thank you for celebrating your special day with us, it was a blast! A scavenger/treasure hunt, “hunters and rabbits”, ice cream truck, and just some good old fashioned running around! We hope y’all had a wonderful day 🎉

A morning in the workshop, forging oyster knives! Our parent/child forging classes are available on Saturdays this fall.
You’ll also notice in the background, half of our workshop is designated to woodworking. We offer classes for kids and adults with Mr. Matt, our resident woodworker. He has worked with Huck Finn over the years as a counselor, and now full time at our shop. He makes some really incredible stuff! Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in taking a class.

Homeschool class is available this September and October! Tuesdays from 9-1pm, kids will learn traditional building skills, as well as a few “new” tools and skills as they go. As the class progresses, we encourage the kids to come up with their own ideas for a project. Most of the projects the kids go home with, are designs of their own creation, we just help them learn the tools to make it happen.

Join us in the blacksmithing shop, to create one of a kind pieces, and take home new skills and memories that will last forever! We currently have parent/child knife making classes, and an adults only skillet making class available. We also offer group events and private classes. Give us your project idea, and we can help you make it happen!
