Please help us welcome our new receptionist at JP2, Mrs. Maria Covarrubias! ✨
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Purificación, Jalisco, Maria has been an Avondale resident for 30 years. She is a proud wife, mother of four, plant lover, and part of a family with strong ties to the JP2 community, including one alumnus and two current students.
We are excited to have her as part of the JP2 family! 💙

A celebration of creativity, talent, and hard work 🎨✨
JP2 art students showcased more than 40 incredible pieces during this year’s Visual Art Night in the rotunda. From AP exhibits and charcoal animal portraits to realistic still lifes, Little Flower Sacred Art winners, portraits, and eye paintings, each display reflected the growth and skills our students developed throughout the year.
A special congratulations to Brianna Salinas for earning 1st place in Arizona’s Seventh Congressional District Art Show with her piece, “Little Bunny’s Dream.” Competing against 1,200 entries, her artwork will now be displayed in the United States Capitol Building as it advances to the national level! 👏🖼️
