Agua Fria High School is located in Avondale, Arizona. The mascot is the owl. Our motto is "Honor First, Win or Lose."
It is a part of the Agua Fria Union High School District and was estabished in 1956.The school colors are red and gray.

We made it to the last week of school! Monday and Tuesday will follow our normal bell schedule. Wednesday and Thursday will be half days. On Friday, no students will attend school, and teachers will complete teacher check out!

We want to extend another thank you to everyone who helped make the Spirit of Agua Fria Gala a success. Thanks to the partnerships with local community businesses and organizations, our school was able to raise thousands of dollars for school programs and student experiences. Our strong Owl community is what makes our school so special.

Monday Student Council provided New Penny Cafe, who supplied us with breakfast treats!
On Tuesday Agua Fria Union High School District came in with pizza, salad, drinks, and desserts!
Wednesday, Blue Cross Blue Shield provided Canes for our staff for lunch!
On Thursday, Student Council hosted a BBQ for teachers in the courtyard.
And Friday, DonutNV came out to treat our teachers to donuts & lemonade!

Agua Fria is very excited to have another Quesbridge Scholar this year! Nohelia Cortez was a National College Match Finalist and matched with Bowdoin back in the Fall. QuestBridge is one of the nation's most prestigious scholarships. Nohelia will be studying Environmental Science at Bowdoin College next Fall.
