On behalf of the Arizona West Valley Alumnae Chapter, thank you for joining us for our 5th CharterVersary Celebration and helping make this milestone event an absolute success. Your presence, energy, and support filled the room with joy, elegance, and celebration as we honored five incredible years of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action.

We are also deeply grateful to everyone who participated in our Silent Auction. Your bids and generosity help support the impactful work we do throughout the West Valley community, and for that, we sincerely thank you.

THE HONORABLE MAXINE WHITE
Arizona West Valley Alumnae Chapter

The Honorable Maxine White is an elected public servant whose leadership focuses on fiscal accountability, transportation policy, and equitable governance at the local, regional, and national levels. Elected to the Avondale City Council in 2022, she serves as Chair of the City’s Audit Committee and contributes to key boards and commissions supporting transparent and effective municipal operations. Councilwoman White represents Avondale on regional transportation bodies, including serving as Vice Chair of the Valley Metro Board of Directors and Chair of its Audit and Finance Subcommittee. She also advances municipal priorities nationally through service on the National League of Cities Transportation and Infrastructure Services Federal Advocacy Committee and the Race, Equity, and Leadership Council.

TRACY A. LOPES, ESQ.
Tempe Alumnae Chapter

Tracy A. Lopes, Esq., is a trailblazing attorney and public servant whose leadership has reshaped representation at the highest levels of Arizona government. She made history as the first African American to serve as Chief of Staff of the Arizona State Legislature, Policy Director to an Arizona Governor, and Deputy Chief of Staff to an Arizona Governor. Currently serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for Outreach and Engagement in the Office of Governor Katie Hobbs, Mrs. Lopes leads statewide efforts connecting government to communities through initiatives focused on youth, families, tribal relations, and equity. Trained as a prosecutor and former Administrative Law Judge, her legal career includes work in domestic violence and child protection, as well as international human rights experience with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.

ERICKA LASSITER
Tempe Alumnae Chapter

Ericka Lassiter is a philanthropist, nonprofit executive, and community advocate whose work spans national leadership and deep local impact in Arizona. From 2009 to 2021 she served as President of the Off the Field NFL Wives Association, a national organization supporting NFL families, where she expanded membership, elevated advocacy efforts, and strengthened charitable giving across communities nationwide. Ms. Lassiter is President of the Kwamie Lassiter Foundation and co-founder of Lassiter’s TACKLE Foundation, advancing youth leadership, education, and health initiatives inspired by her family’s lived experience with sickle cell disease. Her civic leadership includes board and advisory roles with the Sickle Cell Foundation of Arizona, the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University, and FEM-FL, contributing to national conversations on family health and athlete well-being.

THE HONORABLE JACQUELINE J. JACKSON
Tempe Alumnae Chapter

The Honorable Jacqueline J. Jackson is a distinguished judge, attorney and retired U.S. Army Colonel whose career spans more than three decades of leadership in military service and federal law. She served nearly 25 years as a civilian federal attorney, including as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, senior legal advisor within the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, and as an Immigration Judge with the U.S. Department of Justice. She retired as a Colonel, making history as the first African American woman to command the 78th Legal Operations Detachment and to serve as Staff Judge Advocate for the 79th Theater Sustainment Command. Her notable assignments include mobilization in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and service as a Military Social Aide at the White House, where she served as an es**rt to President Nelson Mandela during the United Nations’ 50th Anniversary. Soror Jackson continues her lifelong commitment to service through veterans’ advocacy and civic engagement.
