First I want to say thank you to everyone who has contacted me interested in taking Handy Classes! I am sorry for the lack of updates and communication. Last Oct. I lost my grandfather so we had to pause for a few week so that I could attend the funeral. After returning and finishing out the fall semester me and my wife found out her Dad was terminal and they only gave him 6 months to live. So we decided to try and put all of our time and energy into fixing and selling our house and relocating to Ohio. Unfortunately he passed away in Jan before we could sell and we had to leave for Ohio for an extended period of time and I was unable to plan for a spring semester. With that being said I originally established Handy Academy with the full intention of growing the business and helping kids establish skills they otherwise wouldn't get from traditional schooling. However After these hardships me and my wife have decided to take our camper and go explore the country too help forget about the last 6 months.. I apologize for any inconvenience and I hope that you can understand. THANK YOU

Just giving everyone a heads up.. Registration for classes will be closed Next Week. If you are still interested and want to get in a class or know someone who wants in PM me! I will give out my number to those still interested and I can answer any questions.

First class was a hit!! We learned how to use a scroll saw, Belt sander and Taught a couple first timers how to change a Tire! Thanks Javy and Evin you were great students, your parents should be proud!!!

Thanks to all of those who showed up to the Open house it was great to meet you! I appreciate your patience as I figure things out 😆 . This past week I have had a lot of PM's come in with questions and lots of interest, but not much follow through... So I have scratched the original schedule and only left the classes where kids are signed up. I also wasn't getting much interest in home basics so I scratched that class and replaced all classes with Woodworking.. If you are still interested in getting in a class PM me with the time and date that works for you and I am gonna do my best to fill classes.. (THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY FOR ME. I WILL TEACH ONE STUDENT IF THAT IS ALL THAT SIGNS UP👍)

Hi everyone, we are excited to announce our fall schedule for 2021. Each class is 25 dollars separately, 40 dollars for two classes. All materials and safety gear are included in this price. We are having an OPEN HOUSE THIS SUNDAY 9/5/2021 from 12pm-7pm at our location 1934 Bonner Street, Decatur, Ga 30032 where we would love to share more details, answer any questions, and meet your families. (of course the open house is not required and registration can be done through facebook messaging).
