This was the playground in the 1970's. Family built. You can see the current swings in the background and just a peek of the slide.
Anyone remember playing on this. Also notice the "Mom" supervising. In those days parents volunteered for playground duty. Teachers had a full lunch break every day.

TBT. As we look to open a new school year. It is interesting to see documents from the past which give parents a picture of their child's progress at school and also reminders of what is expected, and NOT expected at home (see text above 2nd photo of parent signatures). The more things change, the more they stay the same.

It is with heavy hearts that we pray for the family of Michael "Vance" Dorsey. His granddaughter, Kenzlea, is a 5th grader this year at SAS. Please keep them all in your prayers.

I have been notified that his funeral mass will be Saturday, August 15 at 11am at St. Agnes.

Another angel to pray for us has arrived at the doors of paradise. Prayers to all of Jack’s family.

John "Jack" was born on August 30th, 1931 and passed away on July 12th, 2026 at the age of 94
