🥋🔥 COMPETITION DAY! 🔥🥋

Another weekend of stepping on the mats, testing ourselves, and proving that hard work pays off! 💪 Proud of these guys for showing up, putting it all on the line, and battling through some tough competition!

🥊 Jared went 2-2 in his first intermediate tournament, earning both wins by submission! He also had two highly competitive matches that went to the scorecards. Great work stepping up and showing what you’re capable of!

🥊 Logan had two super competitive matches, battling hard in both and coming up just short on points. These are the kinds of matches that build experience, sharpen your skills, and make you better!

🥉 Michael went 1-2 and brought home a bronze medal in the GI bracket in his FIRST EVER tournament! He also stepped into the No-Gi division and faced two tough opponents. Nothing but respect for being willing to challenge yourself and compete in both divisions!

🏆 Winning is great, but the real victory is having the courage to compete, learning from every match, and coming back hungry to improve.

We don’t just train to participate. We train to compete, get better, and push our limits! Every match is experience earned, and we’re just getting started! 🔥

A heavyweight challenger will be decided! 🤩

James Hansen of Alliance Minneapolis makes his Orbit debut as a black belt with over 15 years of training and competition experience across the country!

Max “The Mailman” Hartman of Triumph Gym Grand Rapids is the only man of the four with previous Orbit experience standing 2-1 with two submission victories and his only loss to super-heavyweight champion Tayler Clifton. As the only blue belt, he faces perhaps his toughest challenge yet as he looks to upset two upper belts in the same night!

Caleb Birge of Iron Forged Martial Arts makes his first Orbit appearance as a brown belt with dozens of competition matches over his 9 years of training!

David Bushnell of Infinity Martial Arts is finally able to join the Orbit family after previous matches fell through for various reasons. This black belt boasts over a decade of jiu-jitsu experience with across both superfight and tournament experience alike!

Who will come out on top and claim their spot as heavyweight champion Derrick Flaig’s next challenger? Can Hartman’s Orbit experience help him pull off the upset as a blue belt, or will one of our new upper belts make a statement in their debut?
