Another in the books! What a wonderful and inspiring week in the mountains 🌄, making music with young musicians and their families from all over the country! 💛🎻I enjoyed a varied schedule teaching master classes,a Viola rep class, musicianship classes, and musical theater movement elective 🎭. I was also lucky to sneak in a moment or two to enjoy the beautiful scenery with some teacher friends. 🏞️🌅 I hope everyone gets the chance to make special musical memories this summer! 💛🎶🎵

It was a blast participating in the deer creek fiddlers convention 2025!! 🎈🎈Everyone played a great set and we got to hear some really fun performances. I won the fiddle category 🏆 and our youngest competitor was awarded one of the judges prizes, a new fiddle! 🏅Congrats to all who competed it was a wonderful day to make music with friends🎻💛

Had an amazing time at the National Bornoff Workshop and coordinating the Certification Program for some of the most incredible teachers and the future of FASE.managed to fit in some fun adventures with new and old friends 🤗🎻💛. NOLA did not disappoint and the music was everywhere 🥰 🎶

Congratulations to one of our favorite fiddlers who was awarded the Judges’ Prize, an Eastman mandolin at the Deer Creek Fiddlers Convention 2024 for her performance of Tennessee Waltz! Way to go! Good vibrations to explore all summer

It was another great year at Capitol Sound Strings! I look forward to teaching fiddle in the Corn Crib at Rockland Farms Winery every year and this year was the best yet! Loved getting to fiddle with celli too! Proud of my student who played hard and had fun 🎻👍
