Enjoy the Music of Motown Records as presented by the AMHS Music Department on May 23 at 7 PM in the AMHS Auditorium. The concert features the AMHS Band, Chorus and Guitar class performing their renditions of such classic hits as The Supremes' "Stop! In the Name of Love," Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," The Commodores' "Brick House" (as heard in this video), plus more!

RIP Ravi Shankar, the virtuosic sitarist who many consider the "godfather of world music." We will miss Mr. Shankar's tireless efforts to bring classical Indian music into the Western spotlight, highlighted by his work with The Beatles, Philip Glass and John Coltrane.

Check out this collection of B-sides and remixes released by Boston musician Christopher G. Brown's The Difference Engine project. Not only do the proceeds go to Child's Play to help bring toys and games to children in need but it also features a remix from AMHS junior Mackenzie Keefe (completed as part of an independent study in audio production/music technology)!

Even though we didn't get very much snow yesterday, the winter season is fast approaching!

Along with the frosty air, shorter days, and snowflakes comes our annual Winter Concert. This year it will be held on Wednesday December 19 at 7 PM. Event coming soon!
