⚽📚 THE SEASON IS OFF TO AN INCREDIBLE START!
The new school year is here, and Youth Power’s School Year Programs are back in action! Our Middle School Academic Soccer program is bringing students together to grow, compete, and succeed both on the field and in the classroom.

Student-athletes build their soccer skills, strengthen teamwork and confidence, and stay committed to their academics by maintaining good grades. With practices twice a week and weekend games against other middle schools, there are plenty of opportunities to learn, compete, and have fun! 🔥🏆

🎼 We still have a few spots available for our Vail Very Young Composers Camp this July 20–29!

Inspired by the New York Philharmonic’s Very Young Composers program, this one-of-a-kind camp gives students the chance to create their own original musical composition with guidance from teaching artists and professional guest artists, including New York Philharmonic musicians.

We’re just a few days away from one of the largest fundraising events in the Eagle River Valley for more than a decade! The Star Dancing Gala supports Youth Power’s mission to inspire, educate, and empower youth and families from early childhood to college and career readiness.

DAVID HYDE

David Hyde is the Owner and President of Shaeffer Hyde Construction and a longtime supporter of the Vail Valley community. After living in the Valley for 20 years, David feels fortunate to call this community home and is passionate about giving back to the people and organizations that make it so special. Through his work, David is committed to craftsmanship, sustainability, mentorship, and creating opportunities for young people through apprenticeship programs and community involvement. He also serves on the Vail Valley Foundation Board of Directors, chairs the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater Committee and serves on the Vilar Performing Arts Center Committee. David enjoys supporting programs that benefit youth, education, the arts, and the broader community. When he is not working or volunteering, he enjoys skiing, spending time with family, and jamming with his band when time allows.

KELLYE O’KELLY

Kellye O’Kelly is the co-founder of Honed Studio, a Vail Valley–based interior design firm known for its warm, modern aesthetic and highly collaborative approach. Originally from Texas, her early exposure to the arts through dance and appreciation for architecture sparked a lifelong passion for thoughtful expression of her trade and bringing to life well-crafted spaces.

After earning her degree in interior design, Kellye built her career in the Vail Valley, working on high-end residential projects before launching Honed Studio. She partners closely with clients, architects, and builders to create homes that are both refined and deeply personal.

A dedicated mother and active member of the community, Kellye is passionate about supporting the arts and bringing people together through meaningful experiences.

What an incredible week of learning, creativity, and connection at Youth Power’s Middle School Future Chefs & Career Camp at Berry Creek Middle School! 👩‍🍳✨

This hands-on experience was made possible through the generous support of the Vail Resorts Epic Promise Foundation, helping students explore new skills, career pathways, and the joy of creating together.

A huge thank you to Rosa Provoste for joining our middle schoolers at BCMS and sharing her culinary expertise through a fun cooking lesson on making crostinis. We’re grateful for the community partners who help inspire the next generation! 💙
