Today, we recognize and celebrate Mr. Charles Jackson for 13 years of dedicated service to our district as a Maintenance/Building Technician.

For more than a decade, Mr. Jackson has been so much more than his job title. He has been one call away, always willing to lend a helping hand, solve a problem, answer a question, or step in wherever he was needed.

Mr. Jackson, thank you for your hard work, dependability, kindness, and commitment over the years. Your service has not gone unnoticed, and your presence will truly be missed.

In celebration of our students’ outstanding achievement of scoring Proficient and Advanced on the 2026 MAAP Assessments, Ms. White, Curriculum Interventionist, along with other RHS staff, treated our students to a fun-filled day at Topgolf Jackson!

We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, dedication, and academic success. Your commitment to excellence deserves to be celebrated!

A special THANK YOU to Ms. White for organizing this exciting incentive and to all of the RHS staff who helped make this memorable experience possible.

Mrs. Stanford’s students kicked off their introduction to 4th grade Science by exploring the question, “What is Science,” Instead of just talking about what scientists do, the students experienced it!

Each class chose a different Kool-Aid flavor, and the students were able to think like scientists by asking questions, making observations and predictions, testing their ideas, and using what they observed to better understand the world around them. Mrs. Stanford added her own twist by adding a packet of lemonade to each flavor to show the students that adding something can change the flavor without necessarily changing the color. By the end of the experiment, they had Tropical Lemonade, Orange Lemonade, and Grape Lemonade!

The students and Mrs. Stanford had such a good time with this, and it was a refreshing way to introduce them to science while showing them that science is all around us. It was so refreshingly sweet & oh so good. 😊
