Our consumers had an amazing time giving back at the Humane Society! 🐶🐱❤️

From helping care for the animals to lending a helping hand, they showed that a little kindness can make a BIG difference. We’re so proud of our consumers for volunteering their time, spreading some love, and making tails wag along the way! 🐾

From sorting and organizing to lending a helping hand wherever it was needed, our consumers showed that everyone has something valuable to contribute to their community. 💪✨

🌴✨ We’re Headed to SAFARI Advocacy Days! ✨🌴

We’re excited to share a little more about what Advocacy Days looks like for our Ridge Area Arc consumers! 💜🧡

This year, advocates from across Florida will come together September 25–27 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for SAFARI Advocacy Days — an opportunity to build connections, celebrate self-advocacy, and make our voices heard.

And we’re especially excited to spotlight April Levy - Self-Advocate Park Ranger! 🦒🌿

April is a champion swimmer in Special Olympics, loves music, dancing, movies, shopping, and is passionate about supporting others and helping people discover their own strengths. Her story is a wonderful reminder that self-advocacy is about recognizing your abilities, sharing your voice, and encouraging others to find theirs, too. 💚

At Ridge Area Arc, we believe advocacy is more than just a trip; it’s an opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and empower our consumers to be heard.
