Cornerstone Christian Academy

After reading a story about the Wright Brothers, the 7th and 8th graders visited the Florida Air Museum in Lakeland. They experienced three immersive labs: building and dropping parachutes to determine the time and conditions of the drop, using flight simulators to record vertical speed, and using robotic spheres to clear a path through destruction from a hurricane. They were also able to see a replica of the glider created by the Wright Brothers.

Our End-of-the-Year Awards Ceremony was a wonderful success! We are so proud of how hard our students worked and all they accomplished this year.

At CCA, one of our most prestigious honors is the Graydon “Tiny” Lord Spiritual Leadership Award, presented to a student who demonstrates exceptional spiritual leadership and truly exemplifies Christ-like character. This year, the award was presented in memory of Julia Grace Forman and accepted by her parents. Julia’s faith, leadership, and kindness left a lasting legacy at CCA.

We had a beautiful graduation service celebrating Mateo & Lacy! During chapel, we also had a special graduate recognition service, and our students loved seeing the seniors in their caps and gowns.

We are so proud of you both and pray God continues to guide your steps in this next chapter. Always remember you will forever have a home at CCA!

Join us for our Graduation Ceremony honoring Lacy Jones, Mateo Paz, and Dr. George Hall. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM and will be held in the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church Gymnasium.

Our Spring Concert was beautiful! 🌺🌴 The luau theme was so fun and everything was so well done. Shoutout to Mrs. Barbarossa for all of her hard work putting together such a special night. The students did an amazing job! ❤️ We also would like to thank Ashley Worden for taking such great pics for us.

We had such an awesome end-of-the-year Field Day! A huge thank you to Coach Nolan for organizing this special day. We would also like to thank everyone who helped make today such a success. Just a few more days until summer! ☀️
