Kaiden is a courageous 5-year-old who is bravely battling brain cancer.
In June, Highlands County Sheriff Paul Blackman and the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office proudly swore Kaiden in as an Honorary Deputy during a special ceremony recognizing his incredible strength and determination.
On July 28, 2026, Kaiden received another special honor when he was presented with an official Deputy Kaiden Day Proclamation. To make the day even more memorable, he was also surprised with one of his favorite superheroes—Spider-Man!
