Today, members and officers of the Tau Epsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, along with other SFSC clubs, visited the SFSC District Board of Trustee meeting to introduce themselves and tell a little about their plans for continuing education or entering the workforce. Thanks to those that were able to be there today. 😊 During the meeting three students received their All-Florida Academic team medallions.

The Tau Epsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa had a very busy weekend with some students serving at the SFSC theater at the I Am Noah production and some were serving soda sample on the circle at the Soda Festival. A very busy weekend with students earning hours towards graduation regalia.

Thank you to all of the students that came out for today’s chapter meeting. We started working in small groups on our Honors in Action project. There were a lot of great ideas from the groups.

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the Tau Epsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at South Florida State College proudly inducted thirty new members into our chapter. This special occasion celebrated not only academic excellence, but also the commitment of our students to leadership and service.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Bukowski for his warm welcome speech and to Dr. Marcy Everest for her inspiring keynote address, which made the ceremony even more memorable.
During the ceremony, PTK stoles and cords were awarded to members who successfully completed 15 hours of service through PTK projects, recognizing their dedication and active involvement.
Chapter advisor Mrs. Renee LaDue was also deeply honored to receive a plaque from the officers in recognition of her years of dedicated service to the chapter.
Mrs. LaDue presented awards of service to outstanding members and officers. PTK members Jason Howe and Heather Drommerhausen were honored with medals for their extraordinary contributions to the chapter. In addition, PTK Secretary Jessica Parker Estrada and Chapter President Kamilyann Rodriguez received medallions in recognition of their exceptional leadership and service to the chapter, college, and community.
Congratulations to all Tau Epsilon members for an incredible year and for continuing the tradition of excellence in our international award-winning chapter.
