After 18 incredible years, it is time for me to share some bittersweet news — I will be retiring as Director of Cornerstone Preschool.

What a gift these years have been. Serving the children and families of Cornerstone Preschool has truly been a love and a passion of mine. Watching little ones grow in confidence, curiosity, faith, and friendship has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I will deeply miss the daily hugs, the laughter in the hallways, the classroom celebrations, and the relationships built with so many wonderful families.

Thank you for trusting me with your children, for your encouragement, and for being such an important part of this community. Cornerstone Preschool will always hold a very special place in my heart.

As I step into this new season, we are beginning the search for the next Director who will continue to lead with care and dedication. If you or someone you know may be interested, please take a look at the job posting.

Dear School Families,

What a fun and meaningful week it has been for our Souper Bowl Food Drive! Thank you to all of our students and families for your generous donations and spirited support. 🥫🏈

As part of our tradition, students were invited to “vote” for their favorite team in this year’s big game — the Seattle Seahawks vs. the New England Patriots — by placing canned and non-perishable food items in the box of their choice. Not only did we have a great time cheering on our favorites, but we also came together to help those in need in our community. 

We’re excited to share that the Seahawks side got the most cans this year — way to go, fans! 🟢💙🏆 But regardless of team colors, every donation counts, and every can will make a difference for families in need.

All donated items will be delivered to our local food partners to support neighbors who could use a little extra help this season.

Thank you for your generosity, community spirit, and for making this Souper Bowl a success!

Top Secret Mission: Find the East African Ruby that was stollen from a jewelry store in Avon Lake.

The mission was given to us by Secret Agent Flutter Butt the rabbit and his associate!
