Reminders about giving educators gifts:
As we approach the holiday season, we appreciate how much our families want to show their gratitude to our staff and teachers. Please be reminded that our staff members can only accept gifts valued at $25 or less as indicated by the Educator Code of Conduct. While we realize providing one large staff gift is easier on many of our families, we want to ensure all of our staff is not put in a position to have to respectfully not accept a student’s well-intended gift of appreciation.

Gifts can be given as a group gift so long as each student is listed separately. A card cannot say “from Mrs. Smith’s 4th grade class.” It can list the kids individually, so long as the total amount does not equal MORE than $25/ student.

Gifts can also be given on multiple days, teachers can receive 22 gifts, each valued at $25.00. The issue is the ONE SINGLE GIFT at a value over $25.00.

Wear your silliest socks Tuesday and support the SOUPer Bowl Food Drive for CRS.

There are two ways to help us BEAT Avon.

1. Bring in non-perishable items for the food pantry
2. Purchase a ghost sucker for $1 (each dollar counts as 5 pounds of food!)

Let's beat that team down south!
