GEAR for Children GEAR is a private company that offers consulting services and specialized tutoring in Montessori education.

It also has a Bio-Neurofeedback Training Center that specializes in assisting students with learning difficulties. GEAR for Children combines several aspects of life creating a fusion between academic contents, which are curriculum based) and everyday experiences that arise from the surroundings; as we, at Gear, integrate Academics with Personal and Cooperative Values, the student will be able to open its mind and heart to a positive, calm and hopeful coexistence at school, at home and in their community. Gear for children offers the tools that enhances Academic Performance, and at the same time allows the child to develop a sensibility and respect for their peers and the adults in their lives; being conscious and reflexive of social economic transitions, scientific advances, technological innovations and cultural changes will lay the way for them to respond to the adversities that life presents to them, to the best of their abilities.

Let’s break it down:

Motor Development: Montessori links movement to learning, using activities like Practical Life and Sensorial exercises to develop fine and gross motor skills, coordination, and independence.

Cognitive development in Montessori emphasizes hands-on learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Tools like the Checkerboard and Geometric Solids help children build reasoning, organization, and memory in a structured, exploratory setting.

Language Development: Language is developed through communication tools like Sandpaper Letters, the Movable Alphabet, and nomenclature cards. Montessori integrates oral expression, phonics, and writing into daily activities, enabling children to expand their vocabulary and confidently express their thoughts.
