Thank you Jalen! That is Awesome!!
After learning about the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley in Mrs. Berni’s class at Austintown Middle School Falcons Jalen Carter wanted to bless others that may be less fortunate than him during the Christmas season.
As a member of the seventh-grade boys basketball team at Austintown Middle School the boys' basketball booster club embarked on a winter fundraiser selling pepperoni rolls. Together they raised enough money to buy 130 pepperoni rolls for the mission! Jalen thought this was the perfect time to reconnect with the Rescue Mission by donating pepperoni rolls to serve a meal to those in need. Jalen and his mother Nikki also took a tour of the Mission that day as well. Thank you to everyone involved for your kindness!
