It’s easy to compare yourself to others when you are going through a career transition but it’s important not to get stuck in that comparison game. Everyone's journey is different and it is helpful to focus on what matters most, your own professional growth and success.
Here are 4 questions to consider when you begin entertaining the comparison thief:
1. From your perspective, what is driving the behavior of comparing your journey to someone else's?
2. How accurate is the comparison really being made?
3.Do you truly understand the full story of the other person and all of the variables within their journey?
4. What are you gaining from the comparison?

It has been a very long time since I’ve posted on social media. So here is an update. Mid-Pandemic 2020, I made a huge leap and moved to Austin, TX. I have always lived on the East Coast so moving to a new time zone was super exciting. In this picture I was at a beautiful restaurant on Lake Travis here in Austin.

After working with many clients over the last year, I took time during the pandemic to shift gears. Happy Work Week will now focus on 3 main areas: Career Roadblocks (building self-awareness and a better sense of what’s holding you back), Career Navigator (discover the right path for success by creating a Career Growth Plan), and Career Management (helping your prepare for future opportunities - because the journey doesn’t stop once you get a new job).

Addressing all 3 areas promotes continuous growth and allows professionals to stay aligned with their goals. I am excited to reconnect with everyone here!
