❤️ RLAG — IT’S TIME TO COME TOGETHER FOR ONE OF OUR SHRED SISTERS ❤️

First and foremost, this post has been approved by Melissa and is shared with her full support.

As many of you may have heard, Melissa sustained a
serious injury last night during our ride at GTX Trails.

The good news is that she is home, recovering and in good spirits.

At this time, we know that nothing is broken.

She has an appointment with an orthopedic specialist this week to determine whether there is any ligament damage and what her recovery may look like from here.

Moments like this remind us what RLAG is truly about.

Yes, we ride bikes together but we are so much more than a group ride… We are a community.

This is a time to come together.

💛A time to check on Melissa and remind her that her shred sisters are standing beside her.

💛A time to support our leaders and the riders who were with her last night, because witnessing a friend get hurt on the trail can be difficult too.

💛A time to reach out to one another, lift each other up, and remember that no one in this community stands alone.

Injuries are unfortunately part of the sport we love, but how we respond to them says everything about the community we’ve built.
