Our volunteers help make Delco a stronger, happier, and more connected school community. From supporting events 🎉, helping behind the scenes 🏫, and giving their time so selflessly ⏰💖, your kindness and commitment truly make a difference in the lives of our students and staff every single day.

Today at Delco Elementary was filled with emotion, celebration, and unforgettable moments as we closed out the school year. 💙✨

Our students and staff lined the hallways in a special clap-out to honor our 5th grade students as they walked through the school one last time. As they passed by, they were met with cheers, smiles, and heartfelt goodbyes from the Delco family, celebrating all they have accomplished and wishing them success as they move on to middle school. 🎓👏

We also had a very special celebration for Ms. Terri Buggs, who is retiring after 21 years in education and 10 amazing years at Delco Elementary. Following the 5th grade clap-out, Ms. Buggs made her way through the hallways in her own celebratory walk, sharing her joy and energy one last time with our campus community. 💃✨

Her presence, positivity, and dedication to students have been felt every single day, and today we honored the incredible impact she has made on our campus.

To our 5th graders: we are so proud of you. Once a Delco Dolphin, always a Delco Dolphin. 🐬💙

To Ms. Buggs: thank you for your years of service, love, and commitment to children. You will be deeply missed and always remembered.

This Tuesday, the Delco family had the honor of celebrating an incredible educator, a dedicated mentor, and a truly special part of our school family — Ms. Terri Buggs! 🍎✨

As she prepares for her final day at Delco today, we want to recognize and thank her for an amazing 21 years in education, including 10 wonderful years serving the students and families of Delco Elementary. ❤️🎉

For the past decade, Ms. Buggs has filled her 1st grade classroom with kindness, patience, encouragement, and love. She has impacted the lives of countless students, helping them grow academically and emotionally while making every child feel valued and supported. Her passion for teaching and dedication to children have left a lasting mark on our campus.

Tuesday’s retirement celebration was filled with love, laughter, memories, and appreciation for everything she has meant to our school community. 💙

While today may be her last day at Delco, the impact she has made will continue for many years to come. Her legacy will forever remain part of the Delco family. 🌟

Last Friday, our students had an amazing time during Field Day! ☀️🎉 From exciting games and relay races to lots of laughter and teamwork, it was a day filled with fun, energy, and unforgettable memories. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💦
