Our teachers were BUSY this summer! 🧡🤘🏻

Mr. Darrin spent part of his summer as a performer at the Texas Music Festival in Houston. They performed some amazing music including Til Eulenshpiegel and Petrushka!

Mr. Connor and Mr. Ben performed solos at a recital with the studio of Chad Ibison at Concordia!

Dr. G. spent some time at various camps and clinics with middle schoolers around the country where they played some fun rep. like Marquez’s Danzon No. 2 arranged for strings and new work from composer Matt Riley. She reported that one ensemble deserved a *gold* medal for all of their hard work! 😉🏅

Even more of our amazing teachers did incredible things like complete Suzuki training levels, attend camps and clinics, and even serve as researchers for the university throughout the summer! 👩‍🔬🧑‍🏫

While we had a great time this summer, we can’t wait to get back to all of our string project students! See you soon!! 🎶🎻

Every student brought something unique to the stage, showcasing the progress they've made through dedication, perseverance, and a love for music. From expressive performances to growing confidence as performers, it was inspiring to watch each musician share the results of their hard work.

🎸 A round of applause for our incredible guitar students! 👏🎶

From the very first chord to the final bow, our Guitar Recital was a celebration of dedication, growth, and the joy of making music together. Every student took the stage with courage and confidence, showcasing the progress they've made through countless hours of practice and perseverance.

Whether mastering new chords, refining fingerpicking techniques, or developing expressive performances, each guitarist has taken meaningful steps on their musical journey. We couldn't be prouder of everything they have accomplished this semester.

🎉 Congratulations to Mr. Andres on earning his Suzuki Book 1 Teacher Certification through the Suzuki Association of the Americas! 🎻👏

The Suzuki approach emphasizes developing the whole child through music, and we’re so proud to have educators who are continually investing in their craft. What a wonderful way to celebrate an incredible year of growth! Our annual String Project Studio Recitals are a chance for students to share the skills, confidence, and musicianship they've developed throughout the year.
