Welcome to the team Ali! 🎨🖌️

We’re excited to welcome our new art teacher to Bee Cave Middle School - Ali Chatham-Nowell!

Originally from Mississippi, Ali moved to Austin four years ago with her husband and two dogs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Belhaven University. While this is her first year teaching middle school, she brings valuable experience from the high school classroom.

She will be teaching Art 1, 2, 3, and Advanced Techniques—we’re thrilled to have her join the BCMS family!

Welcome to BCMS, Isabel!

Welcome to LTISD and Bee Cave Middle School Isabel Fabrega!

Originally from Houston, Texas, Isabel Fabrega is a proud graduate of Texas State University. While there, she completed her Bachelor's of Music Studies with a Choral focus under the direction of Dr. Joey Martin and Dr. Thomas Rinn.
As both a choral educator and a vocal performer, she proudly premiered works by composers such as Jake Runestad, and Evan Blaché. Additionally, as a member of the Texas State Chorale she had the opportunity to perform at the 2025 TMEA Conference. Isabel is a member of the Texas Choral Directors Association, American Choral Directors Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and Sigma Alpha Iota.

This year Isabel is excited to be teaching at Bee Cave Middle School as Head Choir Director! In the classroom she aims to create a safe space for all students to discover their musicianship and to put student needs first.
