The September SAT is next Saturday, and I know some of you are looking at the calendar thinking "we should have started this a month ago."

You still have time to do something useful.

We are running a 2 hour SAT Boot Camp on Thursday, September 10, from 6 to 8pm at our Dripping Springs location (800 Hwy 290). It is built for exactly this week: the pacing, the question types that trip everyone up, and a plan for what to do the night before and the morning of. No panic, just a plan.

A few more things I want you to know about.

Our new Executive Functioning class starts Monday, September 14, 4:30 to 5:30 at our Dripping Springs location (800 Hwy 290). If your child is capable and still losing track of assignments, starting homework at 9pm, or "forgetting" the test was today, that is not a character issue. That is a set of skills nobody taught her yet, and it is what this class is for.

For our homeschool families, the Noble Den is open Monday through Thursday, 9 to 11am at Dripping Springs. It is homeschool support with real people in the room: a place to get the math explained a different way, work through the hard subjects, and stay on track without you having to be the teacher for every single one of them.

And we have open seats in these small group classes right now:

Dripping Springs (800 Hwy 290)
Noble Den, Homeschool Support: Monday through Thursday 9 to 11am
Reading & Phonics: Mondays 4:30 to 5:30
High School Math: Mondays 6:30 to 7:30
SAT Prep, ELA: Mondays & Wednesdays 5 to 6:30
SAT Prep, Math: Sundays 3 to 4:30

Nutty Brown (12020 W Hwy 290)
Algebra 1: Mondays 5:30 to 6:30
Algebra 2: Mondays 6:30 to 7:30
Math, 3rd & 4th grade: Tuesdays 4:30 to 5:30
Algebra 1 & Geometry: Tuesdays 5:30 to 6:30
Reading & Phonics: Wednesdays 4:30 to 5:30
Middle School Math: Wednesdays 6:30 to 7:30
Algebra 2: Thursdays 6:30 to 7:30
SAT Prep, Math: Saturdays 10:30am to 12pm

If one of these fits, or if your child needs a different subject, private or small group, text us at 512-222-3306 or email [email protected] and tell us how we can support your child's education. We will figure out the right fit together.

Five questions I ask a student before we ever talk about a major.
I ask them when a session wraps up early and a junior or senior is sitting across from me. Parents ask me the after graduation question when they come in to pick up, and the student is usually standing right there.
“I don’t know” is a fine answer. It means the options are still open.
A job title is the answer I worry about. It sounds like a plan, so everyone relaxes and the real questions never get asked.
So, the five questions. Ask them at dinner.

Desk, or moving around?

People all day, or mostly alone?

Build something, make something, run something, or figure something out?

What do you do when nobody is making you do anything?
Name three paths, not one. “I don’t know yet” counts.
Then hold whatever plan you have been assuming up against the answers.

Ask your student tonight and tell me in the comments which question they got stuck on. Number four stumps almost everyone.

Thirty eight percent of Americans say they have a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in higher education. In 2015 it was fifty seven percent. That is Gallup, this past June.

I am not going to tell you a degree is a bad idea. I have one. I have two.

What I will tell you is that “go to college” stopped being a plan the day it stopped being a decision.

So I put the three questions I actually use on one page. You run any path through them before you spend a dollar on it. College, trade school, military, community college, a gap year, all of it.

Resilience. Will this path still exist in ten years, or is AI already taking the entry level of it.

Return. Does the math work for your family, not for a family in an article.

Right Fit. Does it fit this particular child.

A path worth choosing clears all three. Most families check one, usually Return, and usually after the deposit is paid.

The bottom half of the sheet is a table. You write in the three paths your family is actually weighing and score them side by side.

It is free and there is nothing to sign up for. Comment PLAN and I will send it to you.

And the bigger news. I am starting the first group of the full program on September 16. Eight Wednesday evenings, a small number of families, and you finish it with a written plan your family actually agrees on. It is the first time I am running it, so this group gets the founding rate, and the room is small on purpose.

Comment PLAN for the sheet. If you want to hear about the group, say that too and I will call you rather than sending you a wall of text.

Whether your child hasn't touched SAT prep yet or has been studying for months and just needs a quick refresh before Saturday, this one's for them.

This week isn't about learning new math. It's about getting faster, calmer, and a little bit sneaky with what they already know.

That's the whole point of our last minute boot camp this Thursday, 5:30 to 7:30 PM, Dripping Springs. Timing tricks. Calculator and Desmos shortcuts. The handful of question types that show up again and again, so kids stop studying everything and start studying the right things.

No cramming. No panic. Just the moves that move the score.

A few spots left for Thursday 📍 Call or text 512-222-3306 to save your child's seat.

You don't have to wait for a bad grade to know your kid needs a little extra support.

You already feel it. Homework takes twice as long as it should. The confidence starts to slip. What used to be "I've got this" turns into "I don't get it."

That feeling means something, and it's worth acting on now instead of waiting a few more months.

The earlier we step in, the easier it is to close the gap and get your student feeling confident again. That's the whole point of what we do at Noble — small groups, real teachers who actually care, and a plan built around your kid, not a generic worksheet.

So this weekend, reach out. Let's talk about what classes make sense for your student and build a plan to keep them on track all year.

Hi friends! Our fall SAT prep classes start this week and I wanted to share the details, since we have a few spots open in each.

📐 SAT Math starts this Sunday (8/16), 10:30 to 12:00, at our Nutty Brown location 📚 SAT Reading + Writing starts Monday (8/17), 5:30 to 7:00, at our Dripping Springs location

Both are small group classes taught by our SAT team. We keep them small on purpose so your child actually gets seen, gets their questions answered, and builds skills week by week before the fall test dates.

If you're not sure which class makes sense for your child (or whether it's both), just message us and we'll help you figure it out. And if you already know, text or call us at 512-222-3306 and we'll save a seat.

Can't wait for Sunday! 💙

What a morning at Dripping Springs ISD Convocation! 💙

We were so honored to be a vendor today and kick off the school year alongside the teachers and staff who make this district what it is. If you've never been in a room with hundreds of educators getting ready to welcome kids back, the energy is something special.

To our DSISD teachers: thank you for choosing this work. Thank you for the late nights, the classroom setups, the hundredth time explaining something a new way because THAT'S the way it finally clicks for one kid. What you do changes outcomes. We know it, and this community knows it.

And a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello to Kesha and Connie at the Noble table today! They loved every conversation, meeting new faces, catching up with familiar ones, and hearing how excited (and maybe a little nervous, lol) everyone is for the new year. That's what we love most about being part of this community.

Teachers, we're in your corner all year long. Wishing every single one of you an amazing 2026–2027 school year. 🎉
