ame after us, who went to college/high school during the decade of the seventies, eighties, nineties, up to 2013 , to understand their Asian Am heritage, and to...PASS IT FORWARD! Chinese and Japanese Americans,Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, folks from Myanmar, the Phillipines, or from South Asia, including Sri Lankar, India, Pakistan, for example. as well as immigrant families whose first generation came as adults, or as young people, like myself at age 7 or 8, could more easily assimulate than our parents, or siblings who came here at age 15 or older...Still, most us do not acknowledge that we are a "model minority," or call our mother a ..tiger mom...
