Hello current and former SHARE Volunteers!

The fall semester is fast approaching and the Office of Admissions is in the beginning stages of recruiting another great freshman class. As always we cannot recruit the best and brightest without our own best and brightest students to help us.

In the past your assistance as SHARE Volunteers has been an invaluable asset and we are hoping that you can again, help us. In order to stay current and updated with the most recent and available volunteers, each year we start off with a new database of volunteers, so even if you were signed up for the 2012-2013 academic year or our Summer 2013 list, you will need to sign up again to continue volunteering for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Are you already changing the UT Austin community and the world through endless opportunities on campus? Do you have a creative eye and an innate talent for producing amazing, entertaining videos that you show on your own YouTube channel or on social media? Would you like FREE BEVO BUCKS to start out the 2013-2014 academic year?!?!

The Undergraduate Admissions Office is looking for current undergraduate students to create an original, short 3-4 min video that showcases YOU and how you are changing the world. These videos will be shown to high school counselors from your hometown at an upcoming high school counselor event. Maybe you are now a leader of one of UT Austin’s student organizations; maybe you are passionate about solving our world’s problems with fellow leaders/faculty, helping those who are less fortunate, or you are placed at the forefront of groundbreaking research in one of the many labs on campus working with our amazing faculty.
