We loved seeing this incredible adult vocal student bring passion, confidence, and personality to her solo performance at a recent Northwest School of Music recital. We’ve truly enjoyed working with her and watching her continue to grow as a performer!

We loved watching one of our adult violin students take the stage at last week's recital. There's something special about seeing adult musicians make time for themselves, continue developing their skills, and step outside their comfort zone to perform.

And if you're ready for your next musical challenge, we've got something exciting coming up! We are partnering with The Musicians Woodshed North Parmer and Velocity Music Academy Cedar Park to bring this ensemble together!

🎻 Step Onstage Strings is now accepting registrations! This program gives string students the opportunity to rehearse, collaborate, and perform together while building musicianship and confidence along the way.

Our talented adult vocal student delivered a beautiful performance of "The Story" by Brandi Carlile at our August 2 Adult Student Recital, showcasing not only her incredible voice, but also the dedication she's put into growing as a vocalist.

She's always eager to expand her repertoire, embrace new vocal techniques, and challenge herself with songs that help her continue to develop as a performer. That commitment is what music lessons are all about—continually learning, growing, and discovering what you're capable of.

🎶☀ Jazz Pop and Rock Fest RECAP! 🎉

Our 4th Annual Jazz, Pop & Rock Fest was one for the books! Students from Velocity Music Academy and Northwest School of Music took the stage at Steamer Lane Music on Saturday, July 25, filling the room with incredible performances, unforgettable moments, and a whole lot of heart.

From jazz standards and pop favorites to rock anthems, every performer brought something special to the stage. We are so proud of each student who stepped into the spotlight and shared the results of their hard work, dedication, and love of music.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Steamer Lane Music for hosting this amazing community event, to our incredible teachers and staff for mentoring, cheering on, and even performing alongside our students, and to all of the parents, families, and friends whose encouragement makes events like this possible. Your support means the world to our musicians!

Performance opportunities like these are what music education is all about—building confidence, making lifelong memories, and celebrating the joy of making music together.

Our adult drum student absolutely brought the energy with a performance of "Judith" by A Perfect Circle at our recent recital! After spending time honing his skills with his teacher, Paul, he's embraced every opportunity to perform—from rocking out in our Adult Rock Band Program to taking the stage at our recitals.
