TSBVI welcomes The Magical Experiences Arts Company (MEAC) to perform on campus! This marks over a decade of collaboration with MEAC to bring multisensory interactive theater to our students.

MEAC is celebrating 40 years of immersive art and the students love the current productions called: On a Wing & a Prayer and The Kindness of Ravens.

Braille is the legally designated default literacy medium for students with visual impairments, yet only 7.6% of Texas students who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision receive braille instruction.

This article from the latest issue of TX SenseAbilities highlights statewide advocacy efforts for renewed commitment to expanding braille access to improve long-term educational and employment outcomes.
