Congratulations to current masters student Ryan Smalley and current undergraduate student Jackson Quevedo for advancing to the final round of the American Trombone Workshop Solo Competition!! Ryan is a finalist for the Bass Trombone Division III competition and Jackson is a finalist in the Bass trombone Division II competition.
We're cheering you on as you travel to Washington DC in March to compete in the final round! Hook 'em!!

Introducing our new Graduate Teaching Assistant, Josh Stout! Josh recently completed his Masters degree in Trombone Performance here at UT and will be returning this year to begin his Doctorate. He loves fitness, is an avid runner, and is often out exploring new trails with his border collie!

We're very excited to have Antonio Gamez joining the UT Trombone Studio this year! Tony is from Austin and is a Music Studies major. He has marched for three years with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corp and has a talent for being able to fall asleep whenever and wherever he goes!
