First Days and a Few Last Firsts. 💙
There’s something special about the first day of school.

For our kindergarten families, it marks the beginning of a new chapter. For our senior families, it’s the beginning of a year filled with “lasts”—including one last first day. (And yes, those photos on our senior moms’ shirts have us feeling all the feelings. 🥹)

Across campus, friends reunited, teachers and school leaders welcomed students back, and our HillCo community gathered together in worship to begin the year with our eyes on Christ.

Different ages. Different milestones. One HillCo family.

We’re grateful to walk alongside each of you through all the firsts, lasts, and everything in between.

We’re Ready for You, HillCo! 💙

The classrooms are ready. Our teachers are ready. And tomorrow, the best part arrives: our students!

From Preschool–12th grade, our faculty and staff have been preparing, praying, and eagerly anticipating the year ahead. As we begin a new school year, we’re asking God to work through every lesson, conversation, challenge, and friendship—helping our students grow in wisdom, character, and faith as they learn to know and love Him more.

We’re deeply grateful for the educators God has called to Hill Country and for the privilege of partnering with our families in this important work.

With the first day of school just a few days away, the Class of 2027 is already leaving its mark! Our seniors spent time today painting their senior parking spots and adding plenty of personality, color, and creativity along the way.

There’s something special about watching these spaces come to life and knowing they’ll soon be filled with our seniors as they begin their final year at Hill Country. 💙🥹

🌟 Gold Star Scripture Spotlight! 🌟
Congratulations to 3rd grader Eru Y., our first Gold Star Scripture winner of the school year! Our 1st–5th graders work hard through the year to memorize key Scripture passages—and to earn the Gold Star, they must recite every one in succession. Well done, Eru! 💙📖

Today, we welcomed our incredible team back to campus as we prepare for an amazing school year ahead. Over the next several days, our teachers and staff will be learning, collaborating, planning, and praying together—all with one purpose: to provide the very best experience for every Hill Country student.
