PMET started in 2004 when public educators in Houston decided to host a state wide conference.
Public Montessori Educators of Texas (PMET) conference attendees include teachers, parents and administrators from private and public schools. A unique event to network and collaborate on curriculum alignment and integration of state standards; budgeting; parent and community involvement; teacher training; individualization of curriculum; advocacy; file sharing; and other issues significant to public Montessori schools.
