🌳 Community Grounds Workday — This Saturday, Nov. 15! 9am-11:30am
Join us this Saturday as we continue improving our outdoor spaces! We’ll be mulching the planted trees in the southeast field and cleaning up the community garden.
🔸 Pull mulch from the field pile using wheelbarrows and pitchforks
🔸 Spread mulch around trees with rakes
🔸 W**d the garden beds (goodbye, bermuda grass!)
🔸 Possibly add fresh mulch to the garden area
Bring your students/kids and any tools that might be helpful.
We’d love to see you there and work together to keep our school grounds beautiful!

🌿 Boone Grounds Workday – This Sunday, Oct 26!
Join us as we spruce up our outdoor learning courtyard and veggie garden! We’ll be picking up, weeding, and spreading mulch — bring your gloves, rakes, or any tools you’d like to use.
💚 Bonus: Raise Craze has been extended through 10/27 — Boone students who help can count this as an Act of Kindness!
Kids are welcome and encouraged to pitch in. See you Sunday!

🎉 TONIGHT is Spirit Night at Chuck E. Cheese – Support Boone! 🎉
Join us for a fun-filled Spirit Night at Chuck E. Cheese (South Austin location) on Wednesday, October 9th, from 3–9 PM!
Just bring the flyer that was sent home, or mention “Boone” at checkout, and 20% of your purchase will be donated back to Boone Elementary.

Reminder from the front office: Download the Raptor Safe app to your smartphone and register an account for a quick and easy way to sign in to Boone! Now when you enter the office, you can pull up the app and scan the QR code on the tablet and it will print your badge for you. Then just scan the badge to sign out.
Note: If you are picking up your child from the front office, you will still need to bring your ID.

Join your Boone community this fall for a volunteer workday to give our grounds some love! We’ll meet monthly on alternating Saturdays and Sundays to beautify the spaces where our children work and play.
This Saturday we’ll be sprucing up the pre-k courtyard and nature play area. We will be using wheelbarrows and buckets to move mulch from a large pile to the courtyard and rakes to spread the mulch in place. Bring any tools you think will help this effort and let’s knock this project out!
