Congratulations on the opening week to the cast of Luna!
Drama and Theatre for Youth and Communities (DTYC) is a graduate program in the College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin.
Graduate students in the program are pursuing their Masters of Fine Arts. Graduate students from the Department of Theatre and Dance at UT Austin pursuing their M.F.A. degree in Drama and Theatre for Youth and Communities, focus on a variety of scholarly and artistic pursuits. Areas of artistry and research include: Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA), Education, and Applied Drama and Theatre.

The Twelfth Night Community Engagement Committee worked hard to prepare the lobby display for the University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre & Dance's production of Twelfth Night. Wonderful colloquium session with guest artist Caroline Reck, producing artistic director of Glass Half Full Theatre...We are all appreciative of the knowledge she shared regarding puppetry and some of its history as well as learning some practical techniques.

We're so excited for our own, Cortney McEniry and her Ann Shaw Fellowship co-recipient, Lily Junker! Cortney and Lily will attend a Cornerstone Theatre Company Intensive on community based theatre-making, which they will use to help create a new community based performance with high school students at McCarter Theater Center in Princeton, NJ!
